          1) Top Venue in Waikiki: Fort DeRussy Park

Located in Waikiki, Fort DeRussy  beach park is a very convenient, hidden gem that is walking distance from most hotels. It also very colorful and romantic sunsets. Fort DeRussy Park is a beautiful park with tropical plants, different kinds of palm trees, and Hawaiian architecture. The park area is a perfect spot for easy to get to ceremonies, and the nearby beach is ideal photography and festivities.

 

 

 

          2) Top Venue in Town: Magic Island

 Located in Honolulu, just outside of Waikiki, this Oahu beach wedding venue is a huge beach park.  It is characterized by Hawaiian grasses, plants and palm trees. Magic Island is surrounded by a water backdrop frequented by sailboats, canoes, and surfers. The focal point of this top wedding venue is Diamond Head Mountain rising in the distance, an iconic symbol of Hawaii. Just minutes from Waikiki in Honolulu, the gorgeous sunsets make this southern Oahu location one of our favorite evening wedding venues.

 

          3) Top Honolulu Beach: Waialae Beach in Kahala

Then, there is Waialae Beach, also known as Kahala Beach is a small, with many arching palm trees and stark blue ocean color.  Off in the distance Koko Head Mountain is always visible.  A quiet beach wedding venue this beach is less than 15 minutes from Waikiki. As you can see from the wedding photo, this is one of the most picturesque and private locations on the island.   Furthermore, it is located next to the Kahala Resort, a great place to go for drinks or dinner.  You can literally walk from the beach to the resort.

 

          4) Makapuu Beach on Oahu

Further along down along the southeast side, this Oahu Beach Wedding Venue is perfect for a small intimate wedding.  It is defined by rugged beautiful mountains and cliffs surrounding the beach at this oceanfront cove venue.  The unique shoreline has many small tide pools of lava rock.  Because of this, it’s a popular site. Makapuu Lighthouse also has a small island just off the coast which makes for a spectacular and stunning backdrop.  So, it’s just 30 minutes from Waikiki, definitely consider Makapuu.

 

          5)  Top East Side Beach: Waimanalo Bay, Oahu
